The following materials may come in handy to anyone planning a Day of Remembrance event. Of special note is the document titled “Tips for hosting a successful Day of Remembrance event,” which includes a lot of the basics one needs for setting up such an event. Additional materials will be added over time.
To download these materials to your computer, right-click (PC) or click and hold (Macintosh) the link. From there select “Download link to disk” (or other similar text) from the contextual menu.

This is a site created by the Gay Lesbian Straight Educator's Network to provide information and materials for the Transgender Day of Remembrance
GSA Network Beyond the Binary is a tool-kit for gender identity activism in schools. It was co-created by the Gay-Straight Alliance Network, the Transgender Law Center, and the National Center for Lesbian Rights, and includes a section on starting a Transgender Day of Remembrance event.

The next items can be used on websites that are blacking out on November 20th, or wish to otherwise promote the event.
To use the banners, first download one of the above files to your computer, and use the following code on your website to include it on your site. Don’t forget to upload the banner to the appropriate spot on your server, and to revise the SRC tag to reflect where you uploaded the file.
